Whiteface Mountain Uphill Bike Race

About this event
If you like a challenge, this is the course for you. This USATF certified course covers 8 miles over an 8 percent grade up Whiteface Mountain's scenic Veterans' Memorial Highway. Whiteface Mountain is New York's fifth highest peak with 360-degree panoramic views of the Adirondacks, New England, and Montreal.
The race starts at the Visitors Bureau in Wilmington. Packet pickup and parking will be from 3pm to 5pm at the Preston Festival Field, 1135 Springfield Road, Wilmington (just around the corner from the starting line). Packet includes the bib, tee-shirt, and meal voucher.
There will be a bag drop vehicle at the starting line if you desire a change of clothes for the top. Please make sure you have your name and phone number on or in the bag.
There is a rolling start instead of a mass start. You will get a timing chip with your bib.
If you don't feel comfortable riding your bike back down, you may have someone meet you at the top. Event organizers will sell spectator passes at registration. These are cash only and a per person price.
