Farm Fest: A Celebration of Fall

Get ready for a full weekend of fun at the Town of Clifton Park's Farm Fest! This year's event runs Friday, September 18 through Sunday, September 20, 2026, and welcomes the whole family to celebrate the autumn season across multiple farms and historic sites throughout town. Enjoy a variety of activities and attractions, including:

The event takes place at multiple locations throughout Clifton Park, including Riverview Orchards, Robinson ACE Hardware, Harvest Hill Farms, Vischer Ferry Fire Station #1, Historic Grooms Tavern, Amity Reformed Church, Vischer Ferry General Store, Bowman Orchards, Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library, and Shepherd's Hey Farm.

What's Happening at Each Location

Riverview Orchards (660 Riverview Road) — Sat & Sun, 9 AM-5 PM
Apple picking, hayrides, lunch, farm animals, an in-store beehive, and fresh donuts and baked goods. Special programming includes an Audubon New York bird conservation presentation (Sat 10 AM-4 PM), a hot dog and burger lunch from the Shenendehowa Rotary (Sat 11 AM-2:30 PM), and live music from The Bard Rocks (Sat 1-3 PM). Fee for some activities.

Bowman Orchards (147 Sugar Hill Road) — Sat & Sun, 9 AM-5 PM
Home to over 65 apple varieties plus cherries, berries, peaches, pumpkins, and more. Offerings include apple picking, an apple cannon, horse-drawn wagon rides, pony rides, a 6-acre corn maze, and a fruit train. Fee for activities.

Harvest Hill Farms (56 Van Vranken Road) — Fri 2-6 PM; Sat & Sun 10 AM-6 PM
Pumpkins for carving and decorating, mums, squash, gourds, corn stalks, straw, a decked-out vintage tractor photo op, a mini-pumpkin tic-tac-toe board, homemade fall crafts, and goodies from Boozy Baker, LLC.

Shepherd's Hey Farm (43 Riverview Road)
Meet the farm's sheep and shop handspun yarn, handcrafts, and farm products. Watch wool carding, spinning, felting, and dyeing demonstrations. "Walking with Sheep" pasture experiences run Saturday and Sunday at 2 PM and 4 PM. Sunday afternoon features a performance by the Pokingbrook Morris Dancers.

Robinson ACE Hardware (135 Lapp Road) — Sat & Sun, 9 AM-5 PM
Mums, pumpkins, hay bales, and fall décor, plus a pop-up produce stand from Sugar Hill - Sugar View Farm with fruits, veggies, eggs, meat, and farm animals to visit.

Vischer Ferry General Store (357 Riverview Road, Rexford) — Sat 9 AM-4 PM, Sun 9 AM-4 PM
Saturday features beekeeping and flower farming demonstrations and the Cruet Pizza food truck (11 AM-4 PM). Sunday brings a vendor fair (9 AM-3 PM) and the Electro Taco food truck (11 AM-3 PM). Handmade and homegrown products available both days.

Vischer Ferry Fire Station #1 (360 Riverview Road) — Sun 8 AM-12 PM
Fall Pancake Breakfast, pancakes, sausage, eggs, toast, home fries, coffee, juice, and their famous applesauce. $12/adult, $7/child, under 5 free.

Historic Grooms Tavern (290 Sugar Hill Road) — Sat 10 AM-4 PM
Explore displays on Clifton Park's Revolutionary War history and 19th-century agricultural roots, with special recognition given to the town's Century Farms. Tavern tours available throughout the day.

Amity Reformed Church (335 Riverview Road)
Friday 3-6 PM (or sold out): Brooks BBQ drive-thru takeout, $16/dinner, cash only. Saturday 10 AM-12 PM: the church (founded 1802) opens for sanctuary tours, a quilt display, and a flea market.

Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library (475 Moe Road) — Sat 9 AM
Join Diane Payette ("Grama Tippy Toes") for farm-themed songs and stories in the library's "music barn," with free cider donuts, apples, and cider while supplies last.
