5-Week Screenwriting Adventure Zoom Workshop

Join View and award-winning screenwriter Gregg Guest in his zoom lecture series focused on breaking down the basics of screenwriting every Thursday from July 15th through August 12th from 5 PM to 7 PM.
In this series of classes, students will learn the basics of screenwriting, from how to properly develop a plot and attention-grabbing characters, what goes into pitching a screenplay, and so much more. If you are interested in creating your own screenplay, have been working on one but quite not sure what comes next, or just a lover of the performing arts, this is the zoom writer series for you. In 2005, Gregg began working for Marvel Entertainment as Director of Special Projects, where he wrote spec scripts for "Iron Man” and “Hawkeye” and supported the company's new media strategies and merchandising programs. In addition to writing screenplays, Gregg is a visual artist and musician. His artwork has been exhibited in numerous shows including Arts Westchester's Give Us the Vote exhibit and the New York State Juried Sculpture Exhibition at View Arts Center. Gregg has published numerous music albums under the stage name “Jed Luckless" which are available on most mainstream music platforms.
